Being raised in a small town basically means the entire town is like your family. Your home town can vastly enrich your world view and help you have a more complete view on life.

Growing up in a small town let us have the simple freedom to play outside and living in a community that looks after each other. Imagine running into a familiar face anytime you went to the local store, bakery, bank, gas station, ect. You would always get into a friendly conversation. And for that brief period listening, time seems to stand still.

Andrew Lloyd Beaver PA learned a lot of from listening to the older generation. He was able to get advice on life, home stuff, relationships, etc. He really value them as friends and also remain happy for them now as they are getting very old.
